Bourbon Dave's Bar

When Local Legends reporter Dane Millerd recently met up with bourbon collector Bourbon Dave, he couldn't help but take this happy snap of the ultimate whisky fan in action.

This entry chose itself in the 'She Won't Find Me Here' competition' just because every bloke can relate to it more then anything else. Even the 'pourer' Mick Talkes.

Congratulations to Dane on another great shot. Keep 'em coming folks, the competition closes soon as we look to choose our finalists. Great prizes lie in store for the winner as we bid to find the best place in Australia your missus would never be able to find you. We have pix from all over our great southern land and we need more to make this a truly national competition.

Watch this space for more photos from our fans and friends of Local Legends and keep taking the rare shots that make this website that much better.

Who will be our tenth and final entrant? That depends on you!

Thanks - Local Legends Entertainment team.

Pit Stop

Whenever you're out in the scrub the only thing better then not having phone reception so your missus can't reach you is the sight you see before your eyes in this picture.

This entry chose itself in the 'She Won't Find Me Here' competition' just because every bloke can relate to it more then anything else.

The sign leads to the Grawin Pub and according to all reports the beer is cold, the food is good and the people are great.

Did we mention the locals also use it for TAFE? That's right. There are a variety of course that can be done by correspondence and the neighbouring Glengarry Golf Course is also a good test of one's golfing and bushman ability.

Congratulations to Dane on a great shot. Keep 'em coming folks, the competition closes soon as we look to choose our finalists.

Congratulations to Paul for another great shot. Keep 'em coming folks, we have so many to go through and so many good shots, the choice is getting harder and harder.

Watch this space for more!

Spinning A Line ...

This photo of mates on Lake Glenbawn near Scone in the Hunter Valley of NSW is another contender for the "She Won't Find Me Here" competition.

As you can see, there is not much of a chance the missus will find you out on the lake!

Congratulations to Paul Denham for his latest entry in this competition. No doubt he has plenty more.

Start sending your entries in for your chance to win!

Thirsty-WEB.jpg
A Trip To Cans ...

Photo submitted courtesy of Grawin Hotel

This photo of two mates on the cans is a definite contender for the "She Won't Find Me Here" competition.

As you can see, there are many places the missus might look for you but this isn't one of them according to our mates at the Grawin. Then again, we don't know who is laying under the cans!

Congratulations to the Grawin Hotel for submitting this photo in the inaugural 'She Won't Find Me Here' competition.

Keep 'em coming!

Remember it is your snaps that make this comp and website what it is - Legendary!

Need A Lift?

No folks this picture is not a car sales ad. It is the church of every Ford man around.

When resident lensman Paul Denham snapped this photo of Paul Bass, the Ford Man of Sandy Hollow, last year we thought it should be a billboard. Yes Paul Bass, who has more vehicles then the country of Equitorial Guinea and showing no signs of slowing.

Need A Lift is our second nomination for She Won't Find Me Here. As per our congratulations to Snoopy Mars the same must also be extended to Paul Denham.

After your response to the Big Vagenis promotion we have decided to start a new concept encouraging the public to send in their best photos. The 'She Won't Find Me here' contest is judged on the same criteria as the name suggests.

So if you have rare pix of places you she'll never find you then send them in. The winner will be awarded a mystery prize as judged by our team. Please include information on photo location in your entry.

Local Legends Entertainment will select the five best photos and post on our site before announcing the winner on September 30, 2010.

The photo above, By the fire, is the first entry in this new competition. It is a great depiction of the escape only a fire can bring. This picture shows Swampy Matt doing just that.
